Monochromes
These works continue to follow my desire to reveal the emotive meanings of particular moments and places. Whilst the subject matter shares much with the 'abiding' series of drawings, these works are also more directly interested in developing a means of expression that does not just 'represent' this condition, but which evokes it directly through aesthetic means. As a result, most of the works exhibit a move towards abstraction over realism (although perhaps I am actually looking for an ambiguous synthesis between the two - again!!).
